Burns and Wounds
Comfort for the Burned and Wounded by John W. Keim is a book that in my opinion everyone should have in their home. Along with explaining how to apply different dressings to different kinds of wounds and burns, it lists cases of successful treatments using Mr. Keim's methods.
John Keim is an Amish farmer from Ashland, Ohio. Learning at a young age to treat farm animals, he found he had a natural inclination to understanding the anatomy and physiology of animals, thus enabling him to pinpoint the root of different problems and symptoms. After becoming a parent and having his child suffer a horrific accident, he was thrust into the world of treating people, following his God given instincts to that successfully.
Mr. Keim had one of the worst experiences any parent could have- his child was severely burned. When removing the dressings which needed to be changed, the little child let out screams that were unbearable for any parent to hear. Desperate for some alternative solution to ease his child's pain, he decided to go into to town. But for what? More dressing? No. He decided on second thought to go into the woods and seek God's wisdom. As he prayed, asking the Lord to guide him, he was led to a discovery that would change the way burns can be treated in the most amazing and soothing way that only our Creator could be responsible for.
Revelations 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
As well as being led by God to this particular treatment, he developed a cream that heals burns and wounds in a very efficient manner. B&W Ointment works, and I can personally attest to that having used it for a very bad burn.
