Chlorophyll- a Natural Internal Deodorant
I was in the health food store making a purchase, and there on the counter sat a bottle of chlorophyll that said, "internal deodorant." What a shock. After asking the store owner if it really worked, he said yes and that he's had hunters buy it from him for years to conceal their scent when hunting.
Chlorophyll is a pigment found in green plants and algae. The word is from the Greek words khloros (pale green) and phyllon (leaf).
It's very good for your health, and is even said to help fight certain cancers. People who eat a lot of green leafy vegetables reduce their risk for colon cancer. The chlorophyll binds to carcinogenic chemicals called aflatoxins thus preventing the absorption of these cancer causing agents in the intestines.
Something very interesting about chlorophyll is that it is similar to hemoglobin chemically and oxidizes a person's body.
It helps with weight loss, acne, and increases energy. You can get chlorophyll by eating foods rich in chlorophyll such as broccoli, spinach, chlorella, spirulina, and collard greens. Or you can take a supplement, like Benevolent Liquid Chlorophyll.
